Project Description:
The KAJASTUS project aims to develop current landfill gas recovery methods, address challenges in landfill gas upgrading, and widely disseminate information on the topic.
The project will produce measurement and control tools for landfill gas recovery, carry out pilot projects to improve gas production and recovery, and create future roadmaps for gas production for waste management companies. It will also lay the foundation for a national working group specializing in landfill gas, which will continue its activities after the project ends.
The project is funded by the North Ostrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
